• In November, 2004, Vikki J. Martin won 2nd Place in the Rockwall National Juried Art Exhibit for Sacred Drawing IX. The juror of this exhibit, Paul Rogers Harris stated, "She examined the world as it is today, reflected on the past, and successfully used collage as her medium."

• Vikki J. Martin participated in the 2004 "National Juried Exhibition," (Juror: Tom Lynch), ArtCentre of Plano, Plano, Texas, winning an "Award of Distinction" for Sacred Drawing VIII.


• Vikki's work, Natural History V and Natural History XV, were accepted this spring into the "Artists Who Happen To Be Women" exhibition at A & M University, College Station, and "Texas & Neighbors Regional Exhibition," Irving Arts Center, Irving, Texas. She won 2nd Place for mixed media in the Irving show.

• Vikki was inducted into the National Association of Women Artists, New York City, in November, 2003.

• Vikki had two works from her series, "Natural History," accepted in the 9th Gulf Coast National Juried Art Competition in Port Arthur, Texas in September, 2003.

• Vikki's drawing, Natural History XIII, was accepted in the prestigious "Art In the Metroplex" exhibition at Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, where she won the Raucous Science Club Award in September, 2003.

• She had two works on paper accepted in the Texas Visual Arts Association "Regional Open Exhibition" and won "Honorable Mention" for her drawing, Natural History XIV. The show was held at the Plaza of the Americas in Dallas, Texas.
